Director PCVE, Amb. MM Abbas Leads Prevent Advisory Board to Zamfara State

Ambassador Mairo Musa Abbas, Director, Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (PCVE), National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), led members of the Prevent Advisory Board, under the UK Government sponsored Prevent programme, on a courtesy visit to His Excellency, Dr. Lawal Dauda, the Executive Governor of Zamfara State, on 30 August, 2023.

The aim of the visit was to create awareness on activities that are geared towards mitigating drivers of serious organised crime in Zamfara state, while also seeking to strengthen collaboration between the State government and the NCTC, ONSA.
