NCTC partners OSPRE on CT efforts

In order to further strengthen the nation’s Counter Terrorism (CT) efforts, the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) has continued to engage relevant stakeholders and partners, both locally and internationally in fulfilment of its mandate as the coordinating hub of all CT activities in Nigeria.

National Coordinator, NCTC, Rear Admiral YEM Musa (rtd), at a meeting with the Director General, Office for Strategic Preparedness and Resilience- OSPRE (National Early Warning Centre of Nigeria), Barr. Chris Ngwodo, on Thursday, 24 August, 2023 in his Office in Abuja, emphasised that the NCTC under his watch would leave no stone unturned in seeking opportunities for Collaboration so as to ensure that Terrorism and other related challenges facing Nigeria are stamped out as much as possible.

Other attendees at the meeting were Ambassador Mairo Musa Abbas, Director PCVE, NCTC; Brig. Gen. A. Adekola, Director Intelligence, NCTC; PSO Policy And Strategy Directorate, NCTC, Cdr Adetayo Y. Adesokan and other Senior Officials of NCTC and the National Early Warning Centre.
